Presenting THEATRE THREE’s eighteenth annual all-student musical productions. Students will meet for three hours a day, four days a week, with a director, musical director, and choreographer, learning the essentials for the creation of a musical. The program will culminate in two performances. Students will receive a script, music, and a t-shirt as part of their camp membership. Each student will also receive 4 tickets to each performance. Additional tickets can be purchased at the box office.

OYA BANGURA (Co-Choreographer) Originally from West Africa (Sierra Leone). Early dance training, as a scholarship student with Jacques d’Amboise and his National Dance Institute. Appeared at Madison Square Garden’s Felt Forum, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center’s Outdoor Festivals, American Ballet Theatre, New York State Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Balboa Park (San Diego), NDI’s schools (Maine and New Hampshire), and the Rodotto and Fenice (Venice, Italy). As a member of Tap Kids USA, appeared with the Pointer Sisters for Polaroid's 50th Anniversary (Boston). Featured performer on 20/20 feature on NDI, promoting The Event of the Year on the TODAY SHOW. Danced in Michael Dinner's film OFF BEAT. Has performed with Mary Tyler Moore, Ann Reinking, Cloris Leachman, Charlotte d’Amboise, Christopher d’Amboise, Judy Collins, and Savion Glover. Additional training at Dance Theatre of Harlem with classes at Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center. Student of Dance, Theatre/Drama Theory, Music/Music Theory, and the Fine Arts at the Jose Feliciano School for the Performing Arts. Attended Dana Hall Boarding School (Wellesley, MA). Training in dance and choreography College at Boston University. Set Street-Jazz, African, Afro-Modern, and Tap works for students at BU and the Black Theatre Company at Tufts University. Worked with NDI as personal assistant to Jacques d’Amboise. Supporting role in Stop and Watch Films’ TALE OF WHITE BOY BROWN. Performed with Legros Cultural Arts, Inc/Danzare International Dance Company. Earned an A.S. in Theatre (SCCC) where she performed “Audition” and “French Fries” in Jane Martin’s TALKING WITH, and Dorine in Moliere's TARTUFFE. 2013 KCATCF-National Irene Ryan Award Winner. In 2016, earned a BFA in Theater from LIU-Post where she is a Teaching Artist for the Tilles Performing Arts Center's Arts in Education Program (K-4). Oya has spent many seasons as an Acting Coach/Co-Choreographer for Theatrics Performing Arts, Dance Instructor at Stage Door School of Dance, Choreographer for the Bellport Middle School Musical, Bay Shore Middle School and now Oya is Co Founder of Project MOVE in Bay Shore, NY. She is elated to be in her 11th season with THEATRE THREE’s Musical Theatre Factory.

SARI FELDMAN (Director/Choreographer, Musical Theatre Factory) Founding staff member of THEATRE THREE’s Musical Theatre Factory (2004). Twenty year history with THEATRE THREE involves performing in and choreographing dozens of productions including THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, MAMMA MIA!, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, THE PAJAMA GAME, SWEENEY TODD, LES MISÉRABLES and RESPECT. Two seasons (2005-2007) member of THEATRE THREE’s Acting Company with countless credits on Long Island and across the country. Credits include THE BOY FROM OZ (Liza), LEGALLY BLONDE (Paulette), THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Kitty), WEST SIDE STORY (Anybodys), A CHORUS LINE (Morales), SWEET CHARITY (Nickie), THE WEDDING SINGER (Holly), etc. For Troika Entertainment, traveled North America performing in the longest running and most popular Broadway production in history CATS (Sillabub), directed by Broadway Dance Supervisor Richard Stafford, with original Tony-nominated choreography by Gillian Lynne. For NETworks Presentations, actor/dance captain and associate choreographer for national tour of ANNIE, directed by Tony, Emmy, and Grammy award winner Martin Charnin. Founder/director of Theatrics Performing Arts, originally in Miller Place, now Setauket (www.theatricsperformingarts.com), a musical theatre program for ages four and up.

JEFFREY HOFFMAN (Musical Director) Professional Musical Director for forty-six years. Veteran of hundreds of musicals as musical director, director, and actor. Shared the stage as conductor/pianist for Joe Piscopo, Phyllis Diller, David Brenner, Red Buttons, Rip Taylor Joan Rivers, Tony Martin, and Cyd Charisse. Worked as an accompanist, arranger, and conductor in the theatre and variety of performing worlds. Twenty-eight years as a music educator in the public school system while continuing his work in professional theatre. House Musical Director for THEATRE THREE for the past six seasons, with productions including SHREK THE MUSICAL, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, NINE, WIZARD OF OZ, GREASE, MAMMA MIA!, and THE FANTASTICKS, in which he also portrayed Hucklebee. Other Musical Theatre credits include SWEENEY TODD, SPAMALOT, SINGING IN THE RAIN and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Founder/Director of Actors Care Theatre, a charitable production company. JEFFREY SANZEL (Executive Artistic Director) BFA in Acting & Directing from Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. With THEATRE THREE since 1989. Appointed Artistic Director July 1993. Director of over two hundred productions including the 2015 Musical Theatre Factory II’s production of GODSPELL, JR. He is a consulting artist for Manhattan’s 92Y. This summer, he is performing the Long Island premiere of EVERY BRILLIANT THING on THEATRE THREE’s Second Stage.
